How the chain works
Milechain doesn't track you with GPS. You chain the stops you actually drove, and the app routes between consecutive stops with the map service to get the distance. Remove a stop and its two legs merge; every other leg keeps its route choice, purpose and note.
Miles look wrong?
Tap a leg to pick a different route alternative — the chosen route's distance is what counts. Personal legs are excluded from every total, report and export; check the leg's business/personal toggle first.
Reports & CSV
Weekly, monthly and yearly reports send from your own email account — nothing passes through our servers (there are none). If report emails aren't sending, confirm the Mail app is set up and an address is saved under Settings → Reports. CSV export and auto-email are Pro features.
Pro, trials & restore
Milechain Pro is a yearly subscription with a 14-day free trial, processed by Apple. Manage or cancel it in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Reinstalled or new phone? Use "Restore purchases" on the paywall — entitlements come straight from the App Store.
Your data
Your ledger lives on your iPhone and syncs through your own iCloud — turn sync on or off in Settings. Deleting the app removes the on-device copy; the iCloud copy restores on reinstall unless you remove it under Settings → iCloud → Manage Storage. Details in the privacy policy.
